The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Is the Rider on the White Horse the antichrist? – Part 3

In the first article on the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, we analyzed the first version, namely: „Is the rider on the white horse Christ?”.
In the second article, we analyzed the version: „Is the rider on the white horse the conquering angel?”.
Today we analyze the third version.

1. Is the rider on the white horse Christ? – LINK
2. Is the rider on the white horse the conquering angel? –
LINK
3. Is the rider on the white horse the antichrist, the demon?

Let us recall the verse we are examining:

„I looked, and there was a white horse. Its rider held a bow; a crown was given to him, and he went out as a conqueror (3528) in order to conquer (3528).” – Revelation 6:2.

antichrist operated during the time of the apostles:

but every spirit that does not confess Yeshu is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming; even now it is already in the world.”1 John 4:3. We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the one who is born of God keeps Him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one.– 1 John 5:18-19.

If the antichrist was already active during the time of the Apostles, why would he be sent to earth if he is already here?
Is this a different antichrist?
Or would the one sent in the prophecies play a different role than the one who is already here?

The antichrist is characterized by acting against God, taking His place, changing names, letters in names/names. He does this so that his people will recognize him as God. The antichrist can appear under a given religion, religious doctrine or other false belief. If something is missing from the teachings of Christ and the apostles, then it can come from the antichrist.

satan has conquered the kingdoms of the world

Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. And he said to Him, “I will give You all these things if You will fall down and worship me. – Matthew 4:8-9.

In the temptation of Christ, we learn that the ruler of the kingdoms of the world is satan, meaning satan has conquered the kingdoms of the world, so if the rider on the white horse were to be the antichrist, who would he conquer, who would he subordinate to himself? It would be difficult to conquer people who have already been defeated by the earlier actions of the antichrist. Such people should continue to be gifted with lies and care should be taken to ensure that the irregularities are passed down through the next generations.

The true victory of the antichrist is when he wins over a person who is aware of the truth, someone who has already learned the Biblical truth.
He will not win them by torturing or killing them. Such people know that after the death of the body, they go to Heaven.
Satan’s victory over such people is when he convinces them to abandon the true God and to worship demons in various forms. This is exactly what satan wanted to do when tempting Christ. If Christ had willingly, according to His will, worshiped satan, then satan would have won. When satan’s servants murder Christ, then satan really loses.

The antichrist CANNOT punish a servant of God

The antichrist, as the rider on the white horse, cannot punish the servant of the true God. God has marked His servants and does not allow them to be punished:

Then I saw another angel rising up from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who were allowed to harm (91) the earth and the sea, “Don’t harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we seal (4972) the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of the sealed (4972): 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the Israelites” – Revelation 7:2-4.

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green plant, or any tree, but only those people who do not have God’s seal on their foreheads.” – Revelation 9:4.

From this it follows that the four horsemen of the apocalypse cannot strike the faithful of God with any plague. They cannot harm them.

But in Revelation 6:11 we read:

“So they were each given a white robe, and they were told to rest a little while longer until the number would be completed of their fellow servants and their brothers and sisters, who were going to be killed just as they had been.”

The verse tells us that the saints of God will be killed. This means that this verse is not about the rider on the white horse, if he were the antichrist. This rider cannot kill or punish the faithful of God.

Let’s summarize:

We have arguments that the rider on the white horse is NOT the antichrist. We also have an argument for this variant.
The rider on the white horse could be the antichrist, if he peacefully led the faithful away from the true God. In other words, God’s servants would MASSIVELY convert to false teachings of faith. Internet prophets or other entities would be very successful in convincing people to abandon biblical truths: „and he went conquering/conquering/subduing”.
In such a situation, the rider on the white horse would be – the antichrist. Then it would be his victory, then he would subjugate people to his beliefs.

And Christ asked:

“Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” – Luke 18:8
