When did the harlot and the beast Come into Being?
The beast’s Path to Power, or Since When the beast Has Ruled the World – Part 2
The beast from Revelation appears in several books of the Bible
- In the prophet Daniel it is called: the little horn and the abomination of desolation.
- In Matthew: the abomination of desolation.
- In Revelation: the beast/animal and the first beast/animal.
- Let’s look at these descriptions.
The Beast (Revelation 13 and 17)
Characteristics of the beast/animal:
- It rose from the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on the horns ten diadems, and on their heads a blasphemous name.
- It looked like a leopard, had feet like a bear, and a mouth like a lion (a similar description in Daniel) – it received power from the dragon (satan).
- At one point in its life, we are told that its head was mortally wounded. After some time, it was „healed.” This healing is the exit from the abyss.
- it fights with the saints, with the two prophets, and conquers them,
- It receives the authority of the 8th king,
- It is given authority over all nations, languages, and tribes for 42 months,
- During its reign, a system is introduced in which no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast,
- People not written in the Book of Life worship it,
- It is a state and has an army,
- The image of the beast and the false prophet work for it.
Little Horn (Daniel 7:8; 8:9-12)
Characteristics of the little horn:
- it reaches the ten horns/kings and defeats/subdues three of them,
- it has eyes „like the eyes of a man” and a proud mouth that speaks blasphemies,
- it grows in power, becoming greater than the other horns/kings,
- it wages war against the saints and conquers them,
- it changes times and laws.
The Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11; Matthew 24:15)
Characteristics of the abomination of desolation:
- it is found in a holy place,
- it is abhorrent to God, replaces true faith,
- it causes devastation – spiritual and physical,
- Christ says that when you see “the abomination of desolation in the holy place,” flee.
What does the Revelation of John write about the beast?
The last prophetic book we have is the Book of Revelation. And in this book we have a summary of all the prophecies. Let’s look at the details about the beast in this book:
| Characteristic | Verse | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | It comes out of the sea – the sea is a symbol of nations, people (Dan 7:3; Rev 17:15). | Rev 13:1 |
| 2 | It has 7 heads and 10 horns – on the horns 10 diadems; on the heads are blasphemous names. | Rev 13:1 |
| 3 | Similar to a leopard, with the paws of a bear and the mouth of a lion. | Rev 13:2 |
| 4 | Its head was fatally wounded, when it comes out of the abyss its head is „healed”. | Rev 13:3, 11:7 |
| 5 | Those not written in the book of life worship it. | Rev 13:3–4 |
| 6 | It blasphemes against God, attacks God, His name, His tabernacle, heaven and the saints. | Rev 13:6 |
| 7 | The beast with two horns pretends to be Christ. It is a false prophet and works on behalf of the beast. | Rev 13:11 |
| 8 | The image of the beast is another entity that helps the first beast convince people to worship it. | Rev 13:14 |
| 9 | The dragon gives it power and throne. The dragon is satan (Rev 12:9); and the beast is his instrument. | Rev 13:2 |
| 10 | He is the eighth king – “The beast that was and is not, is the eighth king, one of the seven, and is going into destruction.” | Rev 17:11 |
| 11 | The beast is a kingdom. In Rev 17:12, the beast represents not only a king but also a system of government. “Ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive authority with the beast.” The fifth bowl of God’s wrath is poured out “upon the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was filled with darkness.” | Rev 17:12–13 |
| 12 | The beast has his army – “And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.” | Rev 19:19 |
| 13 | War against the saints. It persecutes and briefly triumphs over the faithful of Christ. It defeats two prophets. | Rev 13:7 – 11:7 |
| 14 | Together with the 10 kings, it completely defeats the prostitute. | Rev 17 (all) |
| 15 | Rule the world for 42 months – It is given full power on earth for three and a half years. | Rev 13:5 |
| 16 | The second coming of Christ and the defeat of the beast and all opponents. | Rev 19:20–21 |
Now let’s move on to the characteristics of the beast.
The first feature by which we can recognize the beast – origin
Let’s see how to recognize the beast in today’s pro-geopolitics. We must characterize it precisely, distinguish its agents, and understand its system. This is important because for a short time it is permitted to rule the entire earthly world. And we cannot enter its system. For this, a severe punishment awaits.
In this verse, we have the first identifying feature of the beast. It rises from the sea. The sea in John’s Revelation symbolizes the nations:.
„And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and on his heads a blasphemous name. The beast that I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth was like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority” – Rev. 13:1-2.
The description of the beast is presented in the form of three animals: a leopard, a bear, and a lion. The beast, as described in the Revelation of John, is a kingdom, or state. These three animals: the leopard, the bear, and the lion, represent the states or nations that constitute the beast. These could be three or more nations, or they could also represent a circle of people/clans descended from these nations. The basic conclusion we can draw is that the beast is composed of various nationalities.
- Let’s see what nations/clans were in Egypt when the beast was created:
- Mizraim (Egypt) – descendant of Ham, father of the Egyptians. „And the sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan” – Genesis 10:6.
- Cush (Ethiopia/Sudan) – brother of Mizraim; influence south of Egypt (Nubia). „And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be mighty in the earth… The beginning of his kingdom was babel” – Genesis 10:8–10.
- Canaan – son of Ham; later enemies of Israel. „And the Canaanites were in the land” – Genesis 12:6.
- Mixed-race and alien peoples in Egypt – the Libyans (Put), Nubians (Cush), periodically Assyrians, and other groups.
- The „beast” clan could have originated from the descendants of Ham: Mizraim (Egypt) + Cush (Ethiopia/Sudan) + Canaan.
- What idols could the beast have believed in?
- Egypt – worship of the pharaoh as a god, Ra (the sun), Apis (the bull), Isis-Osiris; magic and priesthood. „…spiritually called Sodom and Egypt” – Rev. 11:8.
- Canaan – Baal and Asherah, ritual prostitution, child sacrifice (Molech); command to completely remove these abominations – Leviticus 18, Deuteronomy 7.
- Cush – the line of Nimrod (Babel) – Genesis 10:8–10.
The second distinguishing feature of the beast – fighting and defeating the saints
In the entire Bible, only one entity—the beast—has God-given „permission” to temporarily defeat the saints. This „license” is granted for a short time. The beast specifically identifies and strikes at true saints. The beast (the „little horn”—the abomination of desolation) is the only one with a God-given, limited time in which will truly defeat the saints.
The currently ruling prostitute has no such „mandate” from God:
she is drunk with the blood of all who do not follow her system (Rev 17:6; 18:24),
she murders widely: prophets, witnesses of Yeshu, but also ordinary people – without distinction,
she drinks the blood of the saints (Rev 17:6), meaning she participates in persecution, but she has no „mandate” from God to defeat them.
In this case, she murdered intentionally; she knew who He was and where He came from. I am referring to the murder of Christ. He was a threat to them; He could have seized power over God’s servants.
Let’s look at these verses.
1.The little horn conquers the saints
“This horn made war with the saints and prevailed against them” – Daniel 7:21.
The prophet sees that the „little horn” is indeed victorious over the faithful. This is the first text that explicitly mentions the defeat of the saints.
2. The saints delivered into the hands of the beast
“The saints of the Most High will be delivered into His hand until a time, times, and half a time” – Daniel 7:25.
A temporary, limited victory for 3.5 years (42 months, 1260 days). This „permission” has a specific time limit.
3. The beast Kills the Witnesses
„And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the bottomless pit will make war with them, and will overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified” – Rev. 11:7-8.
After the two witnesses have „completed their testimony,” that is, completed their prophetic mission, the beast rising out of the abyss will kill them.
4. The beast conquers the saints
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and authority was given unto him over every tribe, and nation, and tongue.” – Rev. 13:7.
We have the description: „it was given unto him” – meaning it receives permission from God. This does not last forever, but only for a specific period. Note also that only after the saints are defeated does the beast gain authority over every nation. This authority is over the entire earthly world. Its duration is 42 months.
5. The abomination of desolation, or the beast, in Daniel and Matthew:
“The army will rise up and defile the sanctuary, and will take away the habitual sacrifice, and will set up the abomination that causes desolation” – Daniel 11:31; cf. Daniel 9:27; 12:11.
The abomination that causes desolation is placed in a holy place:
„Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place—let him who reads understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of the house. And let him who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.”—Matthew 24:15–18 (Mark 13:14–16).
The Lord Yeshu confirms Daniel’s prophecy and warns: when you see the abomination of desolation in the holy place, it is a sign of the greatest tribulation. This is not a time for resistance, but for waiting. This is likely the period of these 42 months.
The third distinguishing feature of the beast – cooperation with the 10 kings
10 kings hand over power to the beast when they defeat the prostitute:
„And the ten horns that you saw and the beast/animal – these will hate the prostitute and make her desolate/devastated/destroyed and naked, and will eat her flesh and burn her with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose/intention/will(1106 gnome), and they have agreed/one purpose/intention/will(1106) and have given their kingdom/dominion to the beast/beast, until the words of God are fulfilled” – Rev. 17:16-17.
How will we recognize the beast?
To better understand this, let’s briefly summarize.
Imagine that the beast is a state, has armies, is currently collaborating with a prostitute, and will soon be collaborating with 10 kings. Together with the kings, it will destroy the prostitute.
It will be promoted throughout the earth. Secular and religious institutions/organizations will be established to support and advertise it. It has millions of agents, supporters, and corrupted people.
Warning! It can support Christs with false names. It works against the true Christ and His Church/Congregation. It has the ability to recognize true servants of God and distinguish them from false ones.
